Welcome to the 6th annual Funniest Person in Memphis contest.

The Funniest Person in Memphis Contest will be judged on originality and of course how funny you are. If you work too blue/dirty, that can hurt you.

THE PARTICULARS:

• There is no charge to enter the contest.
• Everyone gets 5 minutes.
• The Contest will be held at Minglewood Hall’s 1884 Lounge on Madison ave in midtown-memphis.
• All shows start at 9pm
• The top 15 of the 40 spots (20 per round of 2 rounds) will move to the finals on Tuesday July 26th, 2011.

THE DATES:

• Round 1- Tues July 12th $5 tkts
• Round 2- Tues July 19th $5 tkts
• The finalists will be announced on Wed July 20th
• Finals-Tuesday July 26th- tickets- $10.

THE TICKETS:

THE WINNINGS:

The winner wins $200 and a 10 minute spot on a Minglewood Hall show. 2nd place wins $100, 3rd place $50.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Anyone who lives in and around memphis, has a sense of humor has not been involved with trying to overthrow the government of a 3rd world country.
